MDM WASTE MANAGEMENT was established in 2019 during the cholera outbreak in Zambia. Recognizing the critical link between waste management and public health, our founder, MWAPE CHUNGU LUKWESA, started the company to address the urgent need for proper waste collection services in Chimwemwe, Kitwe City.
Since our inception, we have made significant strides in improving waste management practices in our community. By providing regular waste collection services, we have helped reduce illegal dumping, minimize disease transmission, and create a cleaner living environment for residents of Kitwe.
